Daniel Szalay

I‘m a software developer based in Budapest, Hungary. I have 8 years of experience building web applications for various industries, using a wide variety of technologies across the full stack.

Currently, I‘m working at ZETO, where I‘m developing a web platform that helps doctors and healthcare professionals review, interpret, and make better decisions based on full-montage EEG data. My work focuses on building intuitive UIs, improving workflows, and supporting more accurate clinical evaluations.

When I‘m not programming, I‘m either out on an adventure with my dog Rupert, or playing the drums, which has been a passion of mine for about 20 years.

At ZETO, I work as a full-stack engineer on the company's next-generation full-montage EEG platform. My role involves building reliable, scalable tools for clinicians and researchers, improving real-time data processing workflows, and contributing to features that enhance the accuracy and usability of EEG examinations across healthcare environments.

2019 - 2024

UXstudio

Budapest, HU

I was a full-stack developer working on the company's first product: UXfol.io. I've learned a lot from scaling an early MVP into a fully-fledged product with thousands of paying users, and hundreds of thousands of registrations. I also helped launch the company's second product, Copyfol.io, by building the initial payment integration.
